Mental Health First Aid
MHFA is a standardised national training course that trains adults in providing a first line of mental health support.

It is evidence based, rigorously evaluated, and internationally recognised. MHFA adopts a similar approach to physical first aid, as participants learn the skills and knowledge to recognise, understand and respond to someone having mental health issues or a crisis.

The course covers depression, anxiety, suicidality, non-suicidal self-injury, alcohol & other drugs, and psychosis.
Everyone that completes the MHFA course is deemed a qualified Mental Health First Aider, which more and more businesses are embedding as a vital part of workplace health and safety.
